The St. Petersburg Academy of Arts was founded in 1757 by order of Empress Elizabeth, and today it is the most important art education institution in Russia.
The program of the Repin Institute is focused on classical arts. The instruction includes daily work in the areas of painting, drawing, plastic anatomy, perspective, technology of painting and composition. The Repin Institute program will be provided by the professors and teachers of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts and others specialists.
Interpreter services will be utilised in the course of the instruction. The number of lessons is 32 – 40 per week.
The education begins on 31 August 2020 and ends on 22 May 2021. The instruction takes place in the arts classroom of the Kymenlaakso Summer university, Laivurinkatu 7, 48100 KOTKA.
The weekly fee in 2020-2021 is 150 € (altogether 32 weeks).

You can apply for the education by submitting a free-form application together with your CV and a minimum of five and a maximum of ten samples of your work. The work samples can be in the form of photos, slides or actual artworks.
